That is sad....can't imagine the misery of burying your parents together  :'(

Now that I have found the connection between Robert Lenton and my Abishai,  might you have an approximate birth date for Elizabeth? and where?

Witnesses were:    Alfred Clubb and William (could be Street, Scott, strutt not as clear.

Incidentally,  I have worked out that Ewen's father Robert Lenton Green is the cousin of my Abishai James Green... at long last!

Morning Sue or evening where you are  :D

Found the cert (not filed  :-[)  The occupation of Elizabeth's father is noted as a 'Carman'...his name is William Thompson.     Does this match ?

Sorry I took so long.

Hi Sue

I cannot for the life of me remember why I said Elizabeth Thompson  ::)   I am off to get ready for work now,  so when I've had my second coffee I might get it together and remember...as usual my filing is sub standard and will find the cert and reply later.

The Lighter Side / Re: Argh.....what should I do?

Hi Gail,    your acquaintance wants all the glory without putting effort towards it....I had a similar occurance last Christmas from a close friend,   her family name was SMITH..... ;D ;D ;D  I just laughed at her suggestion and she got the hint.....however,  I did point her towards various websites and even Rootschat.....I met up with her a few months later and I asked her how her family research was going..... I quote " ooooh  haven't had time to do anything,  must get onto that "  unquote.......  as of last conversation with her two weeks ago....still not started....just how interested was she?  ::)

Stick to your guns girl  ;)
