Hi Diana,
Thanks for the info, I will look into that looks interesting.
I have sent a email to the church army in the UK still waiting for a reply on that.

Hi David,
My Grandparnets where married under the rites of the Salvation Army in Toowoomba in 1933. My Dad was not brought up to be any religion. He said his Uncles were but does not what they were.

Thanks both for your help.

Hi all, thanks for all your replies and so quick too.
I do have all that info.
Thomas and Sophia had 3 children that I can see.
Abby, Anna Maria, and George.
I thought Thomas and Sophia where grandparnets too, but where is Hebe and it says she is a servant.

Andrew Bunce says on the marriage thing for Brill that he is from Little more Oxfordshire and he married Phebe Steel of that parish. On the 23 Feb 1818.

And I had guess ages ago that he was born out of wedlock when I couldn't find any thing.

May be Hebe and Andrew are Thomas's brother and sister because Thomas and Andrew are from Oxfordshire. A thought?.....

Thanks again for your help.
Cheers Tracy

Hi there,
Thank you so much for all your trouble.
I think my Grandmothers family where Catholic not sure on the Roman Catholic side though. Not sure he was.
My Grandmother died in 1950 her maiden name was Fairbanks. She is buried at Wynnum. But as I said earlier he left the family after that. I think he got married again, not sure.

Thanks again

Family History Beginners Board / Hebe Bunce - Please help find
« on: Wednesday 07 May 08 04:28 BST (UK)  »
Hi I need help finding Hebe Bunce mother of John Bunce of Ickford Bucks.

John was born May 15 1828 Ickford
It says John natural son of Hebe Bunce.

John Baptisms is 15 Jun 1828 Ickford
It says John natural son of Hebe Bunce of Ickford, Servant.

We don't know who the father is, and I can not find a Hebe any where else. I tried the 41 census with no luck.

Has any one have any ideas. My be she died. I don't know.
Please help very puzzled.
Thanks Tracy
