Hi Mikewh
Have sent you a pm with my e-mail address. I use FTM from Ancestry which the are or have stopped producing, so I cannot help you much there.

Hi Mikewh
                Welcome to RootsChat,
Yes I have several pictures of Clixby Manor. From memory they date from about 1840 to 1961 when it was sold. If you do not mind me asking what was the name of your relative.
My relation was Richard Hannam who married Frances Mary Fitzwilliam in 1820. The manor was sold in 1851.

Hope this helps    Steve

Wiltshire / Calne BMD Transcripts
« on: Wednesday 07 September 16 16:08 BST (UK)  »
Do anyone know where I can get a copy of the transcripts of Calne Baptism records, either to view or preferably to purchase on CD? It is the very early ones that I am after. Ancestry and FindMyPast have some but the early ones  seem to be missing

Thanks

Thanks LizzieL and Roger I now have some Robert's to look at. Now it's a case of proving which one, if any, belong to my tree.

Thanks again

Thanks despair  I missed that, I don't suppose he married a Mary Frost?

Robert H b abt  is how I abbreviated  Robert Hannam Born abt,  same for Joseph sorry perhaps it was a bit too short.

I have 2 trees overlapping Mere in Wiltshire and Motcombe in Dorset. The Hannam (ending um, om, ham, an and a  few others)   family seems to be related to each other, Christian name combinations being very similar, but I think I need to go back further to find the common link. that's the reason I am looking for Robert.
I didn't think there were that many of us till I started this now they're coming out of the woodwork.

Arthur Thanks but I don't know as I have very little to go on.

All I have at the moment is a Robert H B abt 1640, may have married a Mary Frost and one of their sons was called Joseph B abt 1677.

It seems fairly certain that it is a town in Dorset or possibly Wiltshire, I do not think the would have moved a body too far in those times.
