The Burnhams listed in the previous post by Bryan are all one family living at Huntsmans Houses, Broughton Lane, Attercliffe and are the only Burnhams in the Sheffield 1861 index. It is possible that this is the family that you are after, but for some reason George was not there on census night. It is noticable that there is a gap of 5 yrs between John and Ralph. Would this be the right age bracket for George?
Also in 1861 there are two Sarah Webbs, aged 32 and 43, one Sarah A Webb, aged 21, and two Sarah Ann Webbs, aged 2 and 11.
In the 1871 census this Burnham family are living at South Normanton, Notts. but still no George.
If you can post more details it may be easier to track him down.

Lorraine,
I think the answer to your question depends on the dates you are interested in. A timeline for Sheffield parishes can be found on the Sheffield Family History Society website at http://www.sheffieldfhs.org.uk/.
Off the top of my head the current nearest churches are:-
St. Hilda on Windmill lane
St. Cuthbert at Firvale
St. Leonard at Southey Green
St. Patrick R.C. at Sheffield Lane Top
and Firth Park Methodist at Firth Park
but if you are searching prior to c1900 then I suspect you need to look at St. Mary -  Ecclesfield

Have you considered William Maurice age 26 Ship canal labourer b. Northampton, who is lodging at 186 Liverpool Rd, Barton upon Irwell, Lancs. in 1891.
I'm not too sure where Easton is but I think Northants. and Huntingdon were adjacent counties.

In the 1881 census there is a woman called QUEEN with the unique forename of THE. I believe she may also be the only person with the occupation of - Queen of Great Britain and Ireland. If you look at the images they appear to have been chewed by the royal corgis.

OK Tabitha - I've got my second wind :)

1881 Hugh Shaw 59 Woollen weft swinger out - the oldest swinger in town?

1901 The NEWT brothers of Devonport

1881 Sarah A Blick - Tucker and Tyer

1881 William Arnfield - tickler at cotton mill. I bet he enjoyed his work. ;D

1881 Fred Hadsworth - smith stinker. Obviously had a nose for the job. ;)

1881 James C Turner - cad. I wonder how much he was paid.

1881 Freeland Lovett (HMS Agincourt) - Bungler.
