Angus (Forfarshire) / Re: BIVRI look up please - Flinn marriage...

Thanks to both of you for the interest and for checking - I knew it was a longshot.
I already use SP often (and my bank account would probably say too often ), and realised that the marriage was just outwith the year for viewing online, so was trying to avoid having to pay to order the OPR details as there may indeed be no link. I had already checked the 1861 and it only threw up 2 Flinn/Flynn entries under Owen, neither in the Dundee area, but I do see his wife and children in the index on SP so perhaps she was widowed by then. That's just reminded me, I must have a look back at some previous death searches I did a while ago when looking for an older Owen Flinn (possibly father of this Owen, that is what I hope to confirm/rule out) and see if this younger Owen turns up on those. Dorothy, if you did get the chance to look at the OPR records that would be great. No rush at all as this is only a longshot. One of my lines married an Ann Flinn/Flynn in Dundee in 1861 (I have marriage/census/death etc, albeit she married just after the 1861 census and I haven't tied her down yet in that one yet (a few possibles but those viewed so far don't seem to be her), but think she was probably already in Dundee by that time (having come at some stage from Ireland) ) documents from SP for her. Her parents were Owen and Catherine Flinn (nee Fitzsimmons). Because of the similar timescale and his name [Owen], just thought it worth checking this younger Owen who married in 1854 in case he was her brother.
Thanks again to both of you.
