I'm trying to find more details re George Hammond born Stockport 1837 and his marriage to Martha Charlton (I think this was her married name (but maybe not) as he has a step-daughter on the 1871 census aged 16).
The earlier census details may give me more clues.

Can someone look up George Hammond born 1837 and family for me please.
In 1871 he would already have had at least 2 children Mary born 1867 and Alice born 1869, and possibly Martha who was born in 1871.
In 1891 he lived in Lomas St with his second wife Annie (married 1877).
