This looks like the family in 1911. You might already have these details and just want the marriage record?

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XWBT-72T

The other family on this record - Wareing
Emily Flanagan married Ernest Wareing at Hulme St Michael.

Yes im trying to find the actual marriage record.....i had some information John may have enlisted in October 1903 but seemed to be back in Manchester in 1911 census.

Was he previously married to Fanny Wade in 1845?  She died 1846

1845 shows his father as John -deceased - occ gardener

I don't know re Fanny...obviously aware he was married before he married Mary in Manchester in 1850.  So he`s moved from Pershore to Manchester by 1850 working as a bricklayer.    There are a lot of Price family members living in Pershore around 1800s.

By 1911 the mother Maria has remarried to Thomas Yardley although he is absent on the census, Another child born 1904 plus Maria and siblings.

Many thanks, I think I'm looking at the same census with Maria Yardley being married for 9 years with a 7 year old (Mary Emma Yardley), however I wasnt sure that Maria Yardley is the Maria Lynch I'm looking for because it shows Marie Lynch (my great grandmother) as Maria Yardley's step daughter?, also why would Maria have 2 x children named Mary (7 and 22)... very confusing, thank you...

You have obviously not been looking in the right place :)

James Arthur Parkes married Margaret Gorrie Scott in Glasgow Blythswood in 1878.
Mary McGregor Parkes was born in Glasgow Kelvin in 1879.

Go to www,scotlandspeople.gov.uk, register, invest in a few credits and use some of them to download the marriage certificate.

thank you

I am looking for my great grandmother on the 1911 census.  She was born in Manchester in 1887.  Her parents were James Lynch (1865) and Maria Eastwood (1864)

She had x 2 children (Marion and Winifred) (father unknown) and then met and married William A Martin and then had a further 3 children (Mary, Noel and Alan).

Any help would be appreciated... :)

Trying to locate birth / marriage details for a Margaret Gorrie and think maiden name could have been McGregor.

She was born c1858 in Glasgow area and married a James Arthur Parkes around 1879/1880.

Parkes was an army Quartermaster / Captain and they lived in army barracks in Hamilton for a while.

Parkes was from Manchester.

We know Gorrie features in her names as it is on the census and her headstone in Manchester but she called her eldest child Mary McGregor Parkes in 1880 so we were wondering if McGregor was her maiden name??

We cannot find her marriage certifcate but we suspect that Parkes went to Canada for a while so we dont know if they married over there.
