Xin,

Your clean has given the pic and almost 1920's American Prairie look in the "Grapes of Wrath" style
and Terry, great colours, the yellow on the little girl is a master stroke and has really made her the focal point of the picture, well done to all, Meg, a great picture to have. 8)

Terry,

Thanking you very much for your efforts and very much appreciated they are, just as a footnote I have discovered my Grandad Thomas Kemp (standing) "Royal Irish Rifle's" was in Gallipoli at the end of 1915, his brother Alexander John Kemp "Lancashire Fusiliers" was also in Gallipoli at the end of 1915, could this be him seated, is the hands on shoulders a kin thing? or was this not an unusual pose that commrades might take at that time? is there enough sharpness in the picture to distingquish the cap badges, one Royal Irish Rangers and the other Lancashire Fusilier regiment, which would suggest brothers, or are the badges the same regiment which would suggest commrades.

Any help advice very much appreciated, ;)

Regards,

Peter.

Hello to all, ;D

Just got my hands on this picture of my Grandad Thomas (standing), he died 30 years before I was born, this is  a scan of a scan, could I have one cleaned up and if possible one with a bit of colour, I'm sure it was taken in the Balkans mabey Gallipoli.

Hoping you can oblige.

Many thanks,

Peter.

Terry, Irene, Tomkin,

Thank you so much for your efforts, I am really pleased with the results, my cousin who is the daughter of one of the men in the picture was 85 yrs young last week, the black and white original has sat in her front room nearly all of her life, she will be over the moon when we get the A3 size colour I have printed off in a frame for her.

Thanks again .

Kind Regards.  :-*
