The mirror appears 3/4 possible 5 feet above the heads of the standing men, what possible vantage point would a mirror placed so high achieve?? ;)

Clifton Barracks Minden Germany was the place Nobby was stationed with the Manchesters, some (sketchy) names from his unit are, Rockets Vinny Hennigan, CSM Jonny Marny, Sgt Stockton, Ginge Mulholland, 2Lt Walker, Budge and Scatts.

Time is of a premium for Nobby, any help much appreciated.

Good day to all,

I am searching for information on the Army or Navy career of one Captain Francis Hole, born 1798 Devon, former JP, Alderman and in 1844 Mayer of Tiverton, Devon. I have him in the 1841/51/61 census returns, but it is his Military service possible between 1818-1828 I am interested in, his Grandson Captain Francis Hole Bourne 1850-1880 was in the 43rd Light Infantry, Scotland.

Any help with this gratefully received, ;)

Help required please for a death record / date / place, for William Laugee Cross, born London, England, 1859, sold his house in Tiverton, Devon and left England about 1908 for South Africa, employed at the East Rand Proprietary Mines Company, Transvaal, SA, believed to have be employed as a station master, death occurred within about 10 years of emigration from England, so death record between 1908 - 1918 ish, any help very much appreciated, many thanks ;)
