Buckinghamshire Lookup Requests / Re: MEAD - Birth place and date

All details/entries in Wendover PR's.

Confirming that he was baptised in Wendover.

You hinted that he may have been born Wendover, and  illegitimate to Mary.  I confirm that.

As you give his age as 'about' 1790, the other one I found fits the time frame.

Marriage also in Wendover for Edward and Milly/Milley.

Oxfordshire Lookup Requests / Re: Henry Hawkins c1864. Sandford St.Martin.

Apologies for not getting back sooner, KG.

I am trying for a baptism for Henry Hawkins.  His d.o.b is a bit erratic through the census.  In 1911 it seems it's 1868, but varies in the earlier ones.

His marriage to Caroline Mead in 1889.Hazlemere, Bucks,  gives father as mentioned.

The mothers name is 'borrowed' from another tree, and I have not researched that marriage.

So the baptism would help a great deal, if it could be found.

Seems strange that I have found Eliza Emma Hawkins baptism, but not the other siblings.

Hi Roy,

Unable to send any copies, as I have found them on Ancestry.   Are you a member of that site.  If not, it may be worth signing up for a month.

They should be available from The National Archives also.
