I've really tried with this one but i'm finding it impossible without having to do it pixel by pixel.

I brightened it a little and tried to sharpen it up. The focus was centered on the middle of the picture so the sides are never going to be in focus correctly.

theres a very small improvement in these but to be honest with pics so small and especially Newspaper scans you are limited to what manipulation you can do with them.

« on: Wednesday 28 October 09 16:39 GMT (UK) »no two different people but its the man on the last picture I am interested in, and I beleive these are some of the last pictures taken of him, therefore that is why I am trying to figure out a date, could they possibly be late fifties ?
I would not have said late 50's, especially for the bottom one, thats an earlier pic imo.

I agree with Gadget and would put the 2nd one slightly earlier, possibly at the end of WW2 or early 50's. Is that the same gent in both pics?

The shoes the lady has on in the top picture are exactly like the ones my mum wore on her wedding day....so i would say 1955 - 1958 ish.
