My research involves Canadian, Irish and English records.  I spend a good deal of time searching the internet, trying to find miscellaneous bits of information about my ancestors.

Today, while using someone else's computer, I found two records that I had not found when using my computer.  (I used the same search engine.)

(While using the other computer) I wrote down the name of the document and the volume number. I just tried to find the document using my computer, and I still can't find it.

Would there be a reason why it cannot be found on my computer?  Thank you for reading this.

Looking for an Anna Maria De Jongh, born circa 1850-1860s, possibly in Lancashire, please?  (I do not have access to English census returns.)  Anna Maria's brother may be Edward De Jongh.

Anna's aunt was named Anna Maria De Jongh and she was born in 1809.  I am looking for information about the niece.  ;)  Both women are mentioned in a will, dated 1885.  I would like to see if the younger Anna Maria can be found.

De Jongh has also be found as: De Jough, De Yongh, De Iongh, etc.  :-\

May I ask for an 1861 census lookup, please?  I'm wondering if I might be able to obtain information about the following family?  I believe they were living in Warrington in 1861.

George Furnival, 2-Apr-1826, Warrington
Charlotte (Lee), 26-Apr-1827, Manchester(?), and their children:
Lydia Louise, 9-Apr-1852, Warrington

The family settled in Ontario, Canada prior to 1871. (I have quite a bit of information about Charlotte Lee Furnival, so I am mainly interested in what might be on the 1861 census, please.)  Thank you.

While trying internet searches for variations of my ancestor's name, De Jongh, I found:
The National Archives
Chronological Tables of the Private and Person Acts
Acts of the Parliaments of United Kingdom
Part 23 (1802-1806)
1803: Naturalization of Morice De Iongh

My ancestor's name was Maurice De Jongh and he was living in England at that time.  Would anyone know, please, if this is a record that I can order?  I would be very interested in finding out more about Morice.  Thank you in advance.

I am wondering what other information might be provided, please, as I cannot view further information.

My ancestor was Joseph Grange and he lived in Hatfield Broad Oak.  Thank you in advance.

While looking around one of the "pay sites" I found a possible ancestor's name under London, England's Freedom of the City Admission Papers (1681-1925).

Would anyone be able to view the information, please:

Apologies for asking something that has mostly likely been asked before.

I was finally able to log in to the ERO site (I had problems in the past).  I've found several records (wills and an auctioneers notebook) that I would like to see.  I am planning on paying for a one week viewing.  Will I be able to download records, or can I only view them for the week?

I'm used to ordering Canadian records; sorry for the lack of knowledge.  Any help very much appreciated.  Thank you.

England / Thomas Lee, born 1829 - Cheshire/Lancashire

Thomas Lee was born in Latchford, Cheshire, christened 2 November 1829, (recorded at?) Grappenhall, Cheshire.  Parents were Thomas Lee and Louisa.  I believe little Thomas was the son of "my" Thomas and Louisa Lee.  I cannot find him after 1829. 

In 1841, Louisa Lee and her three daughters (ages 14, 4 and 2) were living in Warrington, Lancashire.  In 1851, the women were living in Latchford.  Louisa is still shown as married. There is no sign of Louisa's husband or son, both named Thomas.  (The women have been found on census returns after 1851.)  Thanks to wonderful research from RootsChatters, we have uncovered quite a bit of information about Louisa and her daughters (as well as her parents)!

I am wondering if Thomas, born 1829, might be found on an 1841 census, or may have died prior to 1841?  I have not been able to find a death for him.  Thomas' father was a merchant; perhaps they both left the country?

I just came across "marriage bonds and allegations" records (on FamilySearch).

I found my ancestors' "intended marriage" event, dated 1826, and the information states the individuals ages were 21.  While I believe the female's age would have been about 23 in 1826, I've never been able to find out when her husband was born or when he died.

Is it a correct assumption that age 21 was written down because they were both age 21 or over?  Thank you in advance for any help with this question.
