There is a tickbox on the reset page - just make sure it's not ticked, and all your bookmarks, home page, etc., should be safe.
Well they are on mine - I just tried it............!
 ;)
Good luck.

I would try Tools>Internet Options>Advanced>Reset.
You might lose any customisations you've made, but I can't think of anything else at the moment.
Good luck.

If you're fond of your lappy, and if it's the screen, then they are replaceable for around £90, I think...........

Technical Help / Re: Laptop freaking out with Windows 10.
« on: Saturday 05 September 15 09:47 BST (UK)  »
I had a look at Win10 for my HP, but decided there was too much data transfer required for my preferred mobile BB download limits!
 ;)
I think the first thing I'd do is remove/disable/delete any "apps" that you don't need - they'll be updating themselves in the background, and using up your bandwidth, slowing your lappy down.
Then, I'd look for any updates/drivers for your lappy that are more compatible with Win10 - despite MS' claims, I've read that not all the old stuff works as well on the new OS.
If all else fails, can you still roll your system back to the previous one? I think there was a one month grace period............
 ???
Good luck.

A Freephone number?
Haven't seen that one before.
They're either new at the game, or aren't making enough out of the premium rates............!
 ;)
