Handwriting Deciphering & Recognition / Six Hundred Years?
« on: Wednesday 10 December 14 11:36 GMT (UK)  »
Hello

I have recently partially transcribed an old Indenture of 1763 in which an amount of 550 is written about in relation to some property and land (not sure if it is a sale or rent?) but it also mentions for six hundred years? ...Can anyone guide me as to the meanings? I can write more details.

thank you

Lancashire Lookup Requests / CONNOR 1885 Clay Street, Liverpool
« on: Friday 03 October 14 08:55 BST (UK)  »
Could anyone who lives in Liverpool possibly look up for us some details on Electoral Roles or Street  Directories for the years 1883 - 1900. Our Grandfather SIMON CONNOR was born at 1 Clay Street, Liverpool in 1885. His father SIMON CONNOR and mother ELIZA were given as his parents names. They were married in Dublin in 1882 and back in Dublin by 1901 as shown on Dublin census. We are trying to find the family in those middle years (1883-1900) when they were maybe still in Liverpool..

Thank you

Their surname was O'Connor and their parents were Mary Ellen and Simon O'Connor. Does anyone visit the church? Are there any digital files available?...any ideas would be helpful.....

Meath / O'CONNOR marriage approx 1886
« on: Wednesday 30 July 14 11:40 BST (UK)  »
PATRICK O'CONNOR was shown to be married to MARY ? (on the 1911 Dublin census). Their marriage date works out to be 1885 ish in Co Meath. The census also shows a daughter MARGARET b. Co Meath approx. 1887. Is anyone following this family or know where I can get proof of their marriage and of Margaret's birth....and of possible other children? I have found what is possibly the same family on the 1901 census (showing more children born in Co Meath) but I would like to get research from Co Meath if possible. Can someone point me in the right direction please.

Thank you

My mother (Mary Elizabeth O'Connor) and her siblings were born in York Street Dublin in the early 1900's. How it is best to research her birth and the early lives of the family....and to push back in time even further? Has anyone worked before in this area?

Thank You

« on: Wednesday 11 September 13 17:38 BST (UK)  »
Can you please tell me the method of how I can look up a farm; Earl's Court Farm, to find the inhabitants....(in Worcester, 1911 census), when I don't know who lived there? At the moment the 1911 census is free to look at on Ancestry.

Thank you
