Thanks Karen (and Husband!),

It'll be in the mix and looks promising, although I wonder who the little kid was/is.

I hope to progress on other forums, maybe 'European' for Germany and 'Other Countries' for Japan?

Best regards, Kit

Thanks so very much to Dave and Karen for contributing.

No idea where to go now as *** Heuer could still be alive and living in Japan or somewhere else.  His sister is still with us.

Husband did a DNA test with Ancestry a while ago which was uploaded to MyHeritage and Gedmatch.  Nothing high CMs coming back but there are some Hamburg connections in trees.

I might just post on the Europe Forum (where I know davecapps loves to roam and help out!) to see what records might be available for the previous generation.  If we do, I'll put in a link to this conversation.

Very happy for advice.

Cheers, Kit

Aye, I think a Gremlin was in the mix  ;D

Wow Dave, that's an interesting thought.

If correct, I wonder in what context he meant that.

Husband thinks the 2 words might mean something around 'over exposure' of the film or maybe the 'flash'?  Would that work in this case?

Had to delete the original one from the thread as it wouldn’t let me upload a larger version. Unfortunately, I can’t upload anything larger so going to put the first one back here 😕

Hi Karen,

Your translation is much appreciated here.

I uploaded from my iphone for the first time, as I have had issues doing it any other way previously.  I chose the smallest of the resolutions to ensure it could be uploaded.  If you think it wise to try and upload it at 'medium' size, I will try that.

Have a nice walk with your four legged friend.  (mine is lying next to me chillaxing atm)
