Lancashire / Ada Williamson born 1879, Liverpool MMN Jones or Hogarth
« on: Tuesday 04 February 20 17:27 GMT (UK) »
There were 2 Ada Williamsons, born Mar Q 1879 Liverpool, one MMN Jones, the other MMN Hogarth.
One is traceable with family Henry Williamson in 1881, with his widow Charlotte Williamson nee Jones in 1891 census, both in Liverpool.
The other not found in 1881, 1891.
1901 - 3 possibilities, there may be more -
Ada Williamson, Age 22, Cook to Forfar family in Liverpool
Ada Williamson, Age 24 General servant to Wright family in Liverpool
Ada Williamson, 22 Servant to Rae family in Preston
1903 Ada Williamson married William Pearson Sefton, St Marys, Kirkdale (no further details available)
1911
Ada Sefton with young family.
Ada Williamson servant to Webster family
1913 Ada Williamson married Philip Christopher Kelly, father Henry Williamson, Joiner
In census, children's baptisms and marriages Henry is described variously as Glass cutter/Packer, Labourer, Warehouseman and on one occasion Artist (!!)
I have searched high and low for Williamson/Hogarth marriage to no avail. Can anybody find this marriage, possibly in Liverpool? There don't appear to be any other Williamson MMN Hogarth births in Liverpool.
Or the 'other' Ada in 1881, 1891 census?
Has anybody got access to St Marys, Kirkdale marriage records for 1903, to see witnesses and fathers occupation?
Ada, daughter of Henry Williamson and Charlotte Jones, was my husband's great aunt, and I would like to confirm who she was married to.
Regards Margaret
