Thank you for your comment, hanes teulu.
I wondered if it was, as you said, a baptism at home but didn't put that in my post to avoid influencing people's thoughts.

Good Morning!
Theresa Maria Walmesley was baptised in 1861 in Gravesend in Kent and this note is under the surname in the parish register. I wonder if anone can explain its meaning for me.
Many thanks.

Yes, I do have the marriage certificate. She's listed as a widow, but her father isn't named on the certificate!

Thanks Davecapps!
It seems that Frances is still stubbornly resisting my efforts to find her prior to her marriage to Michel.
Still, I have some more clues to work on now.

Thanks so much for the replies. I would really appreciate it if someone could translate, in its entirety, the clip that ShaunJ posted.

Thank you davecapps.
I asked whether Lowther was her maiden name because it's something I don't yet have.
On the birth certificate of her younger daughter, her name is given as Frances Mary Broadwood formerly Lowther, hence my thoughts.

Thanks, TreeSpirit!
This has been fantastic, more than I could have hoped for.
I will try and decipher what I can, but I am sure I will need help with translations.
Am I right in thinking that the records show that she was 40 when she died and that her maiden name is given as Lowther? (If so, this would help with a brick wall I'm trying to get through.)
Thanks again, you've made my day!

Europe / Looking for a Viennese death record

Good evening!
I'm looking for information on the death of Frances Mary Bartholomei.  According to UK probate records she died at 20 Mariannen Gasse, Vienna on 18th June 1884.
Unfortunately I have no German and no understanding of how deaths were recorded in Vienna at that time.
Can anyone help my understanding?
Thanks in advance.
