Anne
Thanks for that information. Godparents are useful to identify as they are often relatives - aunt/ uncle of baby, but John Rogers and Ann Jones are a bit too ordinary to go anywhere with. Marriage witnesses are also a possible lead to other family members, but these are on the Doyle side of the family, not Howard.
Ann marries as a 20 year old but does not know her parents name so you would have to think that she was parted from them at a very early age. Ann might give the names of her own siblings to her children, which can be a good lead if they are less usual names or spelling. Her childrens names do not offer much there, and there is not a John or Bridget either, for what thats worth.
Ann must have been brought up by someone, maybe the Doyles - the same family she married into.  Not many ideas left, but what is Michael Doyle's occupation?

Just to confirm - you looked for  Ann Howard because that is her name on the marriage certificate, and  Catholic, born Lake George, guided by aunt's knowledge. Can I ask how the birth year 1843 was a likely match? Is that a birth year calculated from her age on marriage certificate /death certificate? Is Anne consistent with her age on these two certificates?.

" ...the family plot"...who else is buried there?

Can you name Anne's children please?

This sounds like a Catholic baptism, are there names of godparents/patrons?

As you have an exact birth date I was hoping that you would also have parents names?

Do you have any more information about this man please - a vague idea about when he might have arrived in Australia - was he single/married at the time - what are the names of his parents - what is his occupation?

I cannot see this birth/baptism registered in NSW, or marriage of parents. What is on Ann's marriage and death certificates for her parents names?. Who did Ann Howard marry?. You might be able to locate her in the BDM index for deaths, with, hopefully, parents names given.
