Hi, Could somebody try and find the following family on the 1841 census please :


Geo/George Derrett   Head   c?   

Charlotte Derrett   Wife   c1808   Charlton Kings   Laundress.

Matilda Derrett   Dau   c1829   Cheltenham.

Ann Derrett   Dau   c1837   Uckington.



This family are a right NIGHTMARE  to find, so if you like a challenge......

I dont have any details for Geo/George but do know that he died before the 1851 census was taken, as Charlotte is down as widow.
On the following census's the areas where they lived were :

1851   St. Peters

1861   St. Marys

1871   St. Pauls   7 Victoria Street

1881   St. Peters   2 Swindon Street

1891   St. Peters   2 Swindon Street

1901   St. Peters   2 Swindon Street.

Hi, im trying to find on the 1851 and 1861 census the following family :

Thomas Williams c,unknown , Gloucestershire, Labourer, Head.
Emma Williams c1823, Whithington, Wife.
Caleb Williams c1850, Dowdeswell, Ag Lab, Son.
Joshua Williams 1852, Dowdeswell/Withington, Son.
Elijah Williams c1854, Prestbury, Son.
Salimah Williams c1860, Dowdeswell, Daughter.
Elisha Williams c1861, Dowdeswell, Son.
Dorcus Williams c1864, Prestbury, Daughter.


I do have Joshua Williams on later census's which i managed to find on Ancestry, i also have his marraige cert, what i cant find is him with HIS parents.
I have him (if it's them) on the 1871 Census but his dad "Thomas Williams" is'nt on it, hence wanting the 1851 or 1861 census to see if this is the right family.
On the 1871 census the family lived at 29 Knightsbridge, Elmstone Hardwicke.
