Hi, I am trying to trace the Davis family, who emigrated to Austalia in the late 40s early fifties.  The family was heade by my uncle Bernard John Davis knowas Jack in the family. He was born in 1893 in West Ham. His wife was Gwendoline (Gwen) nee. Basham
They were the largest family to set sail for Australia at the time and made the national press.  There was a photo of them all lined up on the deck of the ship but what paper, what ship?  I  think they may have been living near or in Brighton at the time.
I would dearly like to know what became of them. Thanks to everyone. Sara.

Hi, I have a photo of my uncle Charles Frederick Davis born 1890, it shows him in Naval uniform. Can anyone tell me what rank he held, also any other info' would be great. Thank you, Ray
