Wow, thank you for your help guys.....Im stoked at how much information yous seem to have gathered in such a short time. I already have that same information. Where I am stuck is that I can't seem to find any further information on the following.:

I have Richard N W Townsend born as that in 1871
I have him as death 1948 Tamworth.
I also have his mother after much search as Annie Adelaide Marddrah, 1st marriage Isaace Reec
2nd Marriage as William Townsend...obviously the father of Richard Townsend......(WHy he change dhis name to Reece beats me but I will probably never know that.LOL)

I know the mother of Annie Adelaide Is Helen....maybe Bearcroft or similar yet fathers name is supposedly Jacob Steele. All this I have on certificate . but don't understand why Annie's surname is Marddrah and not matching that of either supposed parent. i can't find anything. Annie was born approx 1842 in Parramatta and I am unable to find a birth record for this anywhere. Her Death was 1893 in Emmaville. ANd my appologies it wasn't Binalong. It was Bingara. She was the First school teacher at Bingara. That was a fluke find on google.

If it was possible for any help with that to start with it would be greatley appreciated. I hope I haven't confused anyone. I have confused myself. hahah

Thanks Dianne
