took me ages to find as i havent linked in the family definatly with mine( 100% sure the name had been linked with one of mine names!)

have looked on the Leicester archives and see you are listed there, i made contact with Betty Choyce sheehan (ons)when i was on there sometime ago.(Don't know if i am legally bound to give you the details) ??? they can be found under the name NEWBERRY archives Leicestershireplus list< dated 23RD SEPT 2001 ;)

Sorry its taken me ages to get back still surviving the school hols  :-X

any links with Newbery/NEWBERRY/NEWBERRY in Ashby de la Zouch?

Sorry! This is nothing to do with Choyce. Forgive me, but I'm new to all this and perhaps I should start a new thread or something....  ::)

Anyway, I just did a search for the name Newbery, and up popped this post. Don't know how else to get in touch. Looking for any help I can get researching the name. Let me know if you can help please.

Thaks Jo for your personal message re Newbery's, but how the hell do I reply to it???

Anyway to answer your question, my Newberys are from Middlesex. However, that only goes back as far as my grandfather's marriage and great grandad's death. I can find no birth certificate for either, marriage record for g'grandad, nor any trace in the 1901 census or anywhere else for that matter, although I have only been searching online.
Any help greatly appreciated... including how to send Rootschat messages like you did.  >:(
