This is a feature of your web browser.

If you use the TOOLS-> INTERNET OPTIONS... menu item, click on the Advanced tab, then scroll down the list to the multimedia section, look for

Let me try that again without nudging the Post button  >:(

This is a feature of your web browser.

In Internet Explorer:
If you use the TOOLS-> INTERNET OPTIONS... menu item, click on the Advanced tab, then scroll down the list to the multimedia section, look for the 'Enable Automatic Image Resizing' checkbox, and see if it is checked or not. Checked will cause all images to resize to your view area in the brower.

For Firefox you'll find the option in TOOLS -> OPTIONS, advanced, in much the same way.
