Looking for a James Bryan Hawthorn/Hawthorne born 1846 Stafford on 1881 census he is a Ship Steward.Any info would be great. On 1881 census his wife is Mary b 1847 Glasgow and 2 children Margaret b 1874 Glasgow and Ellen b 1876 Glasgow and they are living in Liverpool.

This is so weird - 1901 address was 18 Butterfield St Liverpool.  I was born in 19 Butterfield St.  I know the present occupant of number 18 very well - no relation to your Hawthornes.
