There are 32 'Ashman' buried in Trealaw cemetery, Rhondda. Not sure if any others are yours, do not seem to fit with the info you gave, also most of the females would possibly be married.

Burial 13565 Ashman John age 44 plot C265 died 1904
Burial 26329 Ashman Emily age 51 plot C265 died 1917

Possibles?
Burial 38877 Ashman Mary Elizabeth age 5 plot C333 died 1930
Burial 50040 Ashman Martha Hannah age 54 plot C333 died 1944
Burial 61972 Ashman William John age 71 plot C333 died 1964

Interment records are available from Treorchy reference library, via email if you have the burial numbers, (just google).

This will give you date of death, address, next of kin etc.  Also if you have address you can ask for electrol look ups from about 1918

Hope this helps

Hi, are you still researching the ASHMAN family.

My great grandfather Thomas Ashman (b. 1862) was the younger brother of John Ashman (b.1860)
Their parents were George (b.1827) and Dinah (b.1828) Ashman

In the next few weeks i will be going to get burial records of George & Dinah.

Contact me if you have any questions :)

Jan

Hello,
My grandfather was John Ashman ( know as Jack ) born 1896 according to the 1911 census and living at 69 Clydach Road Blaenclydach with mother Emily, and siblings George, William, Sarah Ann, Mabel, Charles and Harry.

The only sibling I remember is Sarah Ann who for some reason we knew as Aunty Sissy. She was living at the time in Knoll Terrace Clydach Vale and later in sheltered accommodation in Llwynypia Rhondda.
I have a number of family photographs including a few of Sissy and another of the five brothers together - at least I think it's them. Certainly my grandfather is one and there is a strong family resemblance, I also have a wedding photograph, which I assume to be the marriage of one of the siblings.  Sarah Ann, as a young woman, is one of the bridesmaids or maid of honour or something like that.   There's also a very old photo of a young woman with four children, two boys and two girls. Could this be Emily with four of the children?

I'm putting together a family tree, so any help would be appreciated.
