Trying to find Wilkie family

David Wilkie b. about 1849 don't no where married Ann Brown b unknown 1871  in Glasgow
They had a son William Wilkie 1875 who died in 1911

Can anyone find this family and where they came from or ended up.

There are two possible for David in the 1851 index ..

David Wilkie aged 2 living in Milton area with father James Wilkie and family
David Wilkie aged 1 living in Laurieston area with father David Wilkie and family

I am trying to confirm that this is a possibility of the family.

Is there anyway the marriage could be checked to confirm parents names. or a later census confirming sister Maggie on it.

Have you tried the 1871 and 1861 census on www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk? 

It is a pay to view site but may shed that shaft of light into your dark corner.
