Karen you never told me that the Family was Church Of Ireland. Thats what i needed to know :) and why i couldnt find them. I have said that Religion is an important factor in finding a burial.

Not to worry Karen but it is a shame i didn't know this because, i could have carried out your request. What i like about the burial records is that it gives you the address of the deceased person. And you can do a lot with that, I will mail The archives and see if they have "Church of Ireland Records" To save a journey, if they have i may be able to get back before the end of the month. Or i can give you the email. Quote     Reasearch (to a reasonable extent)undertaked by staff in responce to phone, e-mail, and postal enquiries:this service is free (doesnt mention overseas)but please allow up to eight weeks for information. Will let you know if they have the record .Then you can decide. I have just sent out your photo's they should arrive tomorrow. I put them on Digital enchance for you this time.

Hi Jan, I didn't have time to look up your burials again. I had only checked the C.O.E and Catholic. All the religions are on separate reels, and they have lots of religions.
I know Bell road thats in seacombe as well, i passed it the other day. It's off King Street like Edith road is. Did half the population of seacombe emigrate at one time ???

Hi Celia...I have searched back to 1917 where I found Thomas McNab's death in Birkenhead in the Jan/Feb/Mar quarter.. My relations told me he died in the 1930's, they must have meant someone else.
Cheers

Hi Celia..I have also found my ggrandmothers Leonora McNabs death in 1905 in Birkenhead, aged 56.  After 6 children she must have been exhausted.
Thanks

Hi Celia,

Thanks for all the info ... the William Lutus may pertain to us .. as my great grandmother had seven or so unsuccessful pregnancies.  I know the family name to be Lutas ... would it also have been spelt Lutus?  Maybe that's where I'm having my difficulties.

Take care

Jan
