Michael & Martha Green of High Easter
« on: Thursday 10 November 05 08:12 GMT (UK) »
Anyone out there researching this family?

So far I know of two children both baptised at High Easter:-
Thomas bap ? Aug 1718.
Martha bap 10 March 1722

Thanks to Clincher there is now also Michael bap 3 Jun 1739 High Easter.

Martha Green (1722) married my ancestor Thomas Eve 1740.  Thomas and Martha obtained a licence which gave them permission to marry within two weeks of 1st April 1740 at High Easter, no other location was mentioned.  Their marriage however was not found in the High Easter PRs.  Their first known child was Martha Eve bap 14 Dec 1740 at High Easter, ten children found and all baptised in High Easter.

I would be grateful to hear from anyone researching that Green family, or has any info at all about them.  Would also be grateful for any info or tips regarding the location of the marriage between Thomas Eve and Martha Green.

Thanks for taking the time to read this post.
