Hi Sharon,

M.V.Angularity was launched on the Clyde in 1934. A 501 tonne cargo ship it was carrying a load of phosphrates from Ipswich to Newcastle when it was torpedoed and sunk by an E-Boat in the Shipwash Channel with a loss of 8 crew members. The Shipwash Channel is off of Felixstowe and Harwich area of coast line.

For more information go to www.clydesite.co.uk where you will find more information about the vessel. I did a quick google and found a few sites in regards to this ship.

Hope it helps,

old rowley.
