Many thanks for all the time you have taken to do research for me.  The Jeffrey Poole who married Mary Lloyd in 1797 are the parents - I think - but can't prove it of my Jeffrey who married Anne Powell in 1838 in Worcester.  I have a copy of that marriage again from parish registers.  On his marriage certificate he says he was of the parish of Shrewsbury.  I have also searched the IGI for Jeffrey's birth.

My problem is proveing my Jeffrey's birth to Jeffrey and Mary Lloyd.  That is the gap.  I don't know what other parish register to search.

Thanks again

Janette

I can't give you more info for the 1891 census as I don't have it.

Hope I am in the correct message board for the following.

Looking for anyone from either the POOLE family, who were farmers in 1766 at CARRAHOVA.
They were married and baptised in LLANYMYNECH.

My ggggrandparents were Jeffrey POOLE and Elizabeth JONES.

Any help or contact welcome
http://www.mednet.az/humanitarian/health1099.html  there is a mention of CARRAHOVA here

Hi all who have helped

I have found my Jeffrey and family in 1851 Census at Finsbury, Islington, England.  I think he had TB as he died of it in 1854 at Turnham Green, Brentford.

When he left Shropshire he went to Brighton, Sussex and left there after 1849 when last child born there was Kate.
In 1854 his wife Anne had another child Thomas, born just after he died.

Still haven't been able to get any further back in Wales, or Shropshire, or prove any birth for him.
Thanks for you the time and effort of you all.

Janette
