Hi Jma09, although my family were originally from the north of England, I have no idea where, all I know is that they went to Ireland with Oliver Cromwell in the 17th Century and stayed there until my dad moved here in the late 1960's. So all my interests are in County Wicklow. No use to you though. I do know that an Anthony Sutton sailed to Australia in 1842 and made some swamp land in NSW inhabitable. I think he was one of the first western settlers over there. Some of his family later joined him in the late 1840's.

I just found out recently that I have suttons to in my tree but they come from loughborough leicestershire, any good??

No link so far.  All my Suttons are in Cheshire or Banbury.
