Joseph Bentley lookup suffolk please

could somebody please help me with Joseph Bentley. He was born c 1838-1936 but we know not where. He was a fisherman living in gorleston on sea, suffolk with his wife louisa but was not listed in the 1881 (the family was listed living at 4 alpha road) or 1901 census. I guess he was at sea or just anti paperwork. He's not listed on the ships in harbour. I've found a Joseph of the right age in the 1851 suffolk census born in Bury but hopefully somebody could find him in the 1891 or 71 to establish a place of birth.

Hi TJ don,t know if u have info on Louisa but thought it worth adding that in 1871 her place af birth is listed as Oulten not Gorleston
