Carol,

I did another flying visit to Rookwood today and got a photo of the Parker grave for you:

Here is a photograph of the surrounding area:

I still have to do the last Seamon grave.  Next time, I promise!

Rookwood is divided into several independently run cemeteries:  Anglican, Catholic, Independent and the Crematorium.

Do you have any idea in what section he was buried?  I'd be happy to locate his grave once I know which office to go to.

I'll add him to my list.  My next visit will be to the Catholic section so I'll make enquiries for you.  May be a couple of weeks or so.

Cheers

Hi!
Just seen your message, and wondered if you haven't been yet, could you possibly add another one to your list at Rookwood please?? In the Anglican section, quite near to the office, you will find a large plot with a very large monument to JOHN JABEZ SALIER. My parents went when visiting from England, but can't read the inscriptions from the photos they took! There are some other names at the bottom apparently. There is also another Salier stone for John Lang Salier too. There may be more.
I would be extremely grateful if you would have time to get these details!
Here's hoping, Sue
