If you Google,  "west kent regiment"  you will find a lot of info.

If you are after specifics I would suggest you put your request on the Armed Services board, where there are a lot of very helpful people.

Hi Salty .Thanks for that. I will try the Google thingy. Then the Armed forces if I need any more info.     I have been lucky enough to visit the "old barracks"in Maidstone Kent did you know it is now the White Rabbit public house.  It still has some photograph's and memorabilia of the Queens own and is still proud of it's heritage.

Hi I am new to this site  wish I had joined earlier.    I am trawling thru' the west kent web sites at the mo'.         Nice to know there is more Queens own fans out there.    C
