Jan Yes that would make sense and that would be also why he changed a lot of details on his marriage cert not to be found out.I will have to dig deeper and send for his first marriage cert.See what i can find out.Thanks for your advice nice to get a fresh look on it.Best Wishes Welsh Lady

On the basis that in the 51 census Joseph from Broadclyst was unmarried the 61 census that gives Thomas's age as 10 must be wrong, unless he was illegitimate.
