Thank you for your reply to my request for help on Michael Dumphreys b. Chester 1819. It was very kind of you to reply so quickly. I have him and his family in London and a fascinating family they are. However can you advise me on finding his parents?

Couldn't find any other Dumphreys in 1851 but that one family. I don't have access to the 1841, but you could try putting a request for any of that name in 1841 and I am sure someone else will help you if at all possible. The only other suggestion I can make is the Chester Parish Registers. :)
