Please can someone clean up this dirty pic?
« on: Sunday 04 December 05 14:27 GMT (UK) »
This is my Great Uncle Victor Rogers in his navy uniform.

Someone has scribbled all over the photo......Not me officer  ;D  ;D ;D

I have just tracked down his grandson and would love to give him a copy of the photo.

Many thanks- all you clever people out there. ;)

Hi Keith,

See, I said someone clever would have a go at this pic for me  :-*

It's looking very good so far thanks.

Go on then- lets see what it would look like in colour please.

How could I refuse an offer like that  ;)...and on a Sunday too.

Regards

Carol

Hi Carol

I've had a bit of a mess with this and this is what I've come up with

Simple repair, and then a coloured version

(If you want full size versions of any of these, PM me with your e-mail address and I'll send them. They're a bit too big to post here. These ones are half-sized for display)

And heres a full sized one which just sneaks in under the 300 kb limit!

Just a cropped version of the coloured one above

Hi Carole,

Told you it would look good in colour!!   ;D

Nice one Glen - better than mine - but you have a choice Carole - never done a uniform before - think most of my relations must have worked in the fields!!

As Glen says we have to reduce it to get on here - once we start colouring.

Cheers
