Gordon....can't find either of the Clarke's on 1851 census :(

But found a poss birth record for Harriet.. I'll try and paste it here...

As you will most likly see the William Henry Moore i am looking for could quite easlily fit in there between the tho girls. just seen your new post...what a strange name.

Ah.....! CP has beaten me to it!

So, Williams children are not Elizabeths children, her's are Harriet and James! That explains a lot!

So maybe Williams 1st wife died in Australia and that why they came back to Norwich?

perhaps your William Henry Moore came back with his father and sisters and decided that he didn't want to live at home?...

I've lost track now...lol...Did you find William Henry on the 1861 census?

Yes I agree that he could easily fit in between the two sisters. But this is only an assumption at the moment. What you now need is a definate date of birth, ie birth cert. to prove all this..Are there any web-sites similar to Ancestry for Australia?

Haha i lost track years ago, i did request 1861 for William Henry Moore from Van Demains Land but nothing was forthcoming as we did,t know where to look first, who is CP ?

Genealogical Society, Launceston Branch, PO Box 1290, Launceston Branch, PO Box 1290, Launceston, Tasmania, 1290, has GRO BMD indexes.

GST Inc, Branch Libraries, PO Box 60, Prospect, Tasmania, has GRO BMD indexes. Marriages from 1837 to 1867. Birth and Deaths from 1868 to 1942 as well as overseas records.

To be honest the sites i went to were links from other sites and had very little in the way of research  so they could have been those sites, there is so much out there you don,t know where to turn next.
