1851 census Angus Scotland
« on: Wednesday 08 September 04 13:18 BST (UK) »
Hi
Can anyone give me info on Andrew Cairns abt 42 in 1851 and wife Mary? Probably have son William abt 9. Could also be James abt12 Margaret abt 10 and John about 7. Am having difficulty in pinning down last three.
Any help appreciated.

The 1851 census is online and indexed at www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk

Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
