Smythe from Dublin to Cooktown
« on: Monday 12 December 05 13:14 GMT (UK) »
Another mystery arrival - looking for ship details about Annie Helena Smythe who married in Cooktown in the 1880s.  If anybody has access to Qld records I be very pleased to hear back about Annie's arrival in Qld.  She was born in about 1853.

Thanks all

Anne

Hi Anne

SMYTHE Ann 23 Western Monarch 6 Aug 1882 IMM/117 59 M1699

This is the only Ann Smythe on the online Qld immigrants list
http://www.archives.qld.gov.au/research/index/immigration.asp

Age looks slightly out. Do you have her death certificate - it should give an approx arrival date and her marriage certificate should give an age.
