Bognor - Backwards from 1881 please!

can anyone please give me details of a TATE family found on the 1881 census

folio 57
pg 13


william (30) & augusta (31) TATE living in south bersted, sussex

i have just discovered that augusta's maiden name was RICHARDS
any links outwards on either family would be appreciated.

Elizabeth Harvey aged 62 born  in Stone in Staffs Aunt

By 1861 they were back in Sussex... living in New Street South Berstead, Bognor.

hmm.....interesting....but i doubt it since the 1881 census states augusta being born in bognor, sussex

Augusta Richards was born March qtr. 1849 Chichester (Sussex) 7  36- (last number illegible)

Augusta married William Tate Sept. qtr. 1868  Chichester 2b  522

Purchasing either of these certificates will at least give the father's name.  The marriage cert is the best option as you'll get both fathers.

This means the above info I gave you re Augusta as 'visitor' in 1871 will refer to someone else.
