1841 Census Look-up please Limpsfield Surrey

Could a really kind person help me with a lookup of the 1841 census.

I am trying to find the parents and siblings of Robert JUPP who on was born c1834 in Limpsfield Surrey. I suspect that their names are James and Elizabeth JUPP.

I have found Robert JUPP on all census bar the 1851 which is driving me mad so I need to find another lead to help me.

I will appreciate any help I can get

Hi Axelaust

I have had a look at the 1841 census for Limpsfield and found the following:-

HO107/1077/6 folio 25b
 The address looks like Shags, Limpsfield

Elizabeth Jupp     50     Occupation deleted (illegible)
James Jupp          18     Ag Lab
Robert Jupp           8
Hester Jupp           6

All born in county

Looking at the ages, unless I have completely misread them (though I don't think so) I would say that James is not Elizabeth's husband but her son.  It is just within the bounds of possibility that they are all three her children and that she is a widow.  Or possibly the younger ones are grandchildren?

Anyway make of it what you will.  Hope it helps a little.

I was browsing this site and noticed your post. The Robert Jupp that you mention, I believe crops up in my family tree. I believe he married an Ellen Battle and they had a son called Edmund who is my G grandfather. I wondered how you fitted into the Jupp tree?
