Kazza, I posted a message today (Fri, Sept 10)  to one of the Census boards, but can't find which one.  It was entitled "1891 UK Census Question" by RedFox.  If I had thought about it I would have also put it on the Cumberland page.

Don't know if you can find it and answer the question about the mis-information or not.  Also, it just occurred to me, is it possible to have questions like the one I asked cross-referenced to the appropriate page(s)?  I tend to think of these things after I've posted the message so didn't save it or I might have copied it myself.    Also forget to save the messages when I reply.  So far it only includes Boongie Pam.

She told us about RootsChat.com on the Cumberland list.  I'm glad I got into it since my Outlook Express is unaccessable right now.  I'm still learning how to use it.  Guess that will come with time.  Would appreciate any help you could give me.  Thanks, RedFox

Hi Redfox,

Welcome to RootsChat.   ;D

Have a look at this posting,  click on the link,  and there are some helpful hints in there about finding your way around:

http://www.rootschat.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=10621.0

We do not delete messages,  unless they are offensive or break our rules,  so they can always be found again.

In general,  if a message is wrongly posted,  a moderator will move it,  so do not worry too much about that.  We do not have a way of cross-referencing,  though the search button is very useful for finding questions on the same topic etc.

Thanks, Kazza.  I just found the message to write Bedfordshire Boy.  I have to look for it again to write Chris1066.  RedFox
