Rees Jones Marriage Certificate

And a happy new year to everyone, can anyone help or give me some advice please.  I’m trying to find the maiden name of Rees Jones’s wife Mary so I can trace her family line. Rees Jones b 1821 Llangamarch Brecknock, Wales, and his wife Mary b 1823 Llanwrtyd, Brecknock, Wales. So I thought if I find their marriage and buy the certificate I will find her maiden name.  I’ve found a marriage on Free B M D for Rees Jones and a Mary Williams Dec1838 but how do I know if it is the right marriage before I buy the certificate.

Hi Mike,

Have you spotted any of their children's births? A birth cert would give you mother's maiden name.

I didn’t think of a birth certificate Yes I have some of the children for the censes ill try that thank you very much
