Hello Billy,

How's your research going? Did you ever get any clarification on John Rough?

Hi Jean,
Been a while since we spoke, how RU?  Starting chasing Roughs again after a very long time away from it
:-[  My interest was rekindled by the discovery of a previously unknown cousin who got in touch almost by accident, and what a story she had to tell concerning Thomas Drummond our ggg-grandfather. I have lot of swotting up to do to get back in touch with my old research !! been a while,

regards

Hello Billy,

Glad to hear you're back in the Roughs!

With the 1841 census online I thought I might find Andrew Rough as the gravestone at Glamis gives him a death year of 1842 - but I couldn't find him. I know Catherine (his wife) is on there.

1841: Glamis, age 50, b. Angus. w/children Andrew, David & Elizabeth

You had anything further with Andrew? I've a feeling perhaps he died earlier.

Very best to you -
Garen.
