BAWDEN, Benjamin - Linkinhorne & related persons

I'm trying to learn more about Benjamin Bawden, b. about 1781.  His daughter, Joanna (Johanna, Jeanna) was borm about 1815.  She married my GGGGF, James Dawe, Sept. 1840 in Henwood, Cornwall. (Lynher Parish list).   Benjamin is listed as her father on the list.

I believe her mother was Elizabeth.  Both DAWE and BAWDEN seem to be fairly common in Cornwall.

Would like to hear from anyone who has knowledge of either BAWDEN or DAWE.   RedFox

I have those names in my family tree.  I have a family chart with Benjamin and his ancestors.  I have not varified these.  Most I have got from the church baptism records of Cornwall but you are welcome to them.  May give you something to go by.

Thanks for writing, Joany.  I need a new challenge.  As I said in my message, I have Joanna's mother (Benjamin's wife) as Elizabeth.  I show a birth of about 1791 for her.  Anything I can learn would be helpful.  Do you show children for Elizabeth and Benjamin?  Or do you show another wife?  I'm anxious to hear from you.  RedFox

Joany, I just sent Boongie Pam a message describing our problem of communicating.  Also realized I spelled her "name" wrong.  I'll check my message again in a few days. 

You said you have a Benjamin with a daughter, Joanna.  Who do you show as the mother?  I have a date of birth (DOB) for Joanna about Dec. 1815 in North Hill (Northiill?).  Joanna married James Dawe 2 Sept 1840.  One of their sons, Richard Bawden Dawe was my G,G,GF.   

I took my info from the Lynher Parish lists which have been very helpful to me.  Talk to you soon.
