Well my tapes arrived at the FHC. Unfortunately they only covered up to 1852. The time period of interest spans 1859 to 1884. Each tape spans about one or two years so the cost for me to continue is going to be prohibitive. They cost $8.00 per tape. Can anyone offer a look up for me?? It would be greatly appreciated!!!

Hello Annie:

And a big thank you. I'll have to go back to the FHC to look in the catalog but that should be no problem. I think they're open tomorrow evening. I believe that the records of the Superior Court of New York County is the best place to start. I'll PM you as soon as I get the numbers.

Thanks Again!

Hello Annie:

By the way I got the tape numbers from the Familysearch.org web page. It was easy notwithstanding the sheer quantity of subject tapes. There is all kinds of stuff on it. This alone has been a useful experience!

Thanks and Regards
