I have had a look at your suggested link and have found my G, G,G. Grandad Montague McNab on the list.  Killed by a falling object on 1st Nov 1887.

Last week, I was in South Queensferry and there is a beautiful memorial adjacent to the lifeboat station commemorating those killed in the construction of the bridge.
