Connaught
« on: Sunday 15 January 06 00:44 GMT (UK) »
Hi
I am looking for the Allen/Allin surname. They were actually living in England by 1851. One of the births says Connaught, Roscommon, is this right?
Thanks

Hi Gabbers

Roscommon County is in the province of Connaught if that answers your question.

Best wishes

Crannagh is a townland in Roscommon. You can see the way it is written, does it look like Connaught or Crannagh on the records?
