Marriageand Births for Robinson and Welch

Looking for marriage and births  of Thomas Robinson born abt 1840 Durham and his wife Ann Welch born abt 1841 Sunderland
I don't know when they married but births and areas of birth are according to 1881 census for Ryhope.

Hi Isobel,

On Ancestry I have found an Ann Welch born March qtr 1842 Sunderland volume 24 page 287.

I also found a Thomas John Robinson born Dec qtr 1842 Sunderland; Thomas Robinson born June qtr 1840 Sunderland.

I have several Robinsons in my tree, who originated in Ebberston Pickering Yorkshire.  Some of them moved to Durham and had family.  My first known in Durham was Stephen Robinson, born abt 1841 Ebberston, wife Ann.  They moved at some point to Durham and has children (Only ones known so far) Mary abt 1868 Barnard Castle and Richard abt 1870 Eggleston.
Richard married Elizabeth Ann?  Shje was born in Shincliffe abt 1869.  Known children so far were:
Ann abt 1896 Cassop Durham
Alice abt 1899 Cassop Durham
William abt 1900 Cassop Durham.

Thanks for replying to my post.  Unfortunately the areas of Durham are not in my tree.  Most of them were from the Ryhope area or Sunderland

Sorry about that mistake, I picked up on your post 15 Jan 06 regarding Thomas Robinson in Durham.  Just clutching at straws as I have just found this family in Durham, within the last few days.  Back to the drawing board.  Regards Maeve

They married in 1861 - you will find it by searching the Sunderland Registrars site at http://www.sunderland.gov.uk/pages/registrars/

The full GRO reference is 4q 1861, Sunderland 10a 592.
